ABOUT THE EDITORS
Tammy Adamson-McMullen has been a reporter and editor for 30 years and has written for dailies, consumer and trade magazines, lifestyle publications and web sites. She served many of those years as a contributing editor for a national decorating trade magazine and editor of its Canadian counterpart. As a freelancer, Tammy has written and edited for local, regional and national publications and has covered topics ranging from interior design, gardening and travel to education, organic farming and a wide range of social issues. For many years, she also directed public relations for a major nonprofit organization and lectured on ways that entrepreneurs can grow their businesses with simple PR and marketing techniques. Tammy is a partner in Franklin McMullen Communications LLC, a public relations and marketing firm. She lives in the Seattle area with her husband and son.
Diane Capuano Franklin has been a writer and editor in the paint, decorating and faux-finishing industries for 30 years. She has written for magazines, newsletters, websites and blogs and also edited and written books for clients in a variety of fields. Diane has written extensively about faux and decorative painting, profiling numerous professional artisans and gaining a great understanding about how the creative process works. She also is a partner in Franklin McMullen Communications LLC, a public relations and marketing firm. She lives in the St. Louis area with her husband and two daughters.
